Get Started

To start with, you need to download and install ElegantJ BI Mobile App for Tally on your mobile device and get yourself registered. Once you are registered with ElegantJ BI Mobile App for Tally, the next step is to download and install the Desktop App for ElegantJ BI Tally Mobile App on your desktop. Log in to the Desktop App with the same credentials as the Mobile App and configure it as per your requirement. The Desktop App will connect to your Tally Application to fetch the data in a scheduled manner defined by you and store it on a secured cloud server. The Mobile App then communicates with the cloud server to fetch and display required Tally data and access ElegantJ BI Tally Mobile App on your mobile.

Licensing and Fees

The download is free, as is the use of the app for a period of one (1) month. Licensing fees apply thereafter.
Yes, the app is free to download and use for one (1) month.
You can pay for your license and/or renew in advance before your subscription expires. Android users may pay online via secured payment gateway from their ElegantJ BI Mobile App for Tally. Go to the Main Menu of your mobile app. You can also pay offline via cheque or bank transfer. Apple iOS users can make payment offline only. The ElegantJ BI Mobile App for Tally is free to download from the Apple or Android app store, and you can register for the application for free. Once you register, you can use the Tally mobile application for free for one (1) month. Pricing thereafter is Rs. 1999/per year. This license and pricing is for unlimited companies and unlimited data transfer within your Tally Application for one user. Additional users cost Rs. 1999/year. License is subject to End User License Agreement. Click here to read EULA.

The ElegantJ BI Mobile App for Tally works in both online and offline mode, so you can manage data transfer charges on your mobile device.
  • While in online mode, the app will use and fetch data from cloud and will use data transfer on your mobile.
  • While in offline mode, the app will NOT use data transfer on your mobile but rather will show data from the last saved version of data on your mobile device.
  • You can use your Wi-Fi connection at your home, office or other places to avoid mobile data charges.

    Yes, support is available online. You can use support option from main menu of your mobile app or contact us at support@tallymobileapp.com
    We store minimal data in encrypted format on secured cloud server.

    Desktop App is a secured data transfer service provided by ElegantJ BI, and it has secured token-based authentication. ElegantJ BI stores minimal data in encrypted format on secured cloud server. Communication between cloud server and the ElegantJ BI Mobile App for Tally is secured through HTTPS.
    You need a smart phone running iOS or Android and a valid ElegantJ BI Mobile App for Tally subscription. You also need to install our Desktop App that connects with your Tally Application, and have internet connection from a machine running Desktop App.

    You need to register through ElegantJ BI Mobile App for Tally. You can not register from Desktop App. Download Desktop App and Log in with the same credentials as mobile app.

    User Questions

    You can change your phone, device or phone number anytime without service interruption, as long as the new device is compatible with the Tally mobile app in version and operating system. Simply download the free app from app store to your new mobile device, and use valid credentials to start using the service. In both the cases, you need to generate a One Time Password (OTP) from your currently installed app for the purpose of validation. In case the phone number is being changed, the OTP will be sent to the new number so that it can be registered with TallyMobileApp. In case the device is being changed, the OTP will be sent to the registered number so that the new device can be configured for TallyMobileApp.

    Yes, you need to download and configure Desktop App in order to access Tally data in a scheduled manner.

    No, the Desktop App is not required to run all the time, but it is advisable to keep it running to keep getting latest data from Tally to your mobile app. The scheduler built into Desktop App fetches data automatically as per the mentioned intervals and Mobile App displays data updated during last data update. For data update on cloud, following is required:

    • Scheduler should be set and running
    • Tally should be running
    • Company(s) should be open in Tally
    • Internet should be connected
    • While in online mode, the last updated data from cloud server is displayed in your mobile app. So, if you keep shorter frequency for the scheduler in Desktop App, you can get near real time data on your Mobile App.
    • While in offline mode, the app will NOT use mobile data but rather will show data from the LAST-SAVED VERSION of data on your mobile device.

    Yes, you can access all the companies you have in your Tally instance and see data for a particular company or multiple companies.

    Yes, you can manage access rights by configuring additional users in Desktop App. Users can be given rights for accessing one or more companies and each user needs to have valid subscription of the service.

    ElegantJ BI Mobile App for Tally will fetch data from the Tally instance you have configured in your Desktop App. One Desktop App can be connected to only one Tally instance, so you can only use one Tally instance at a time.

    You can cancel your subscription to TallyMobileApp at any point of time. We are sorry to see you go. However, we are unable to provide a refund for any remaining usage you may have in your account.
